I have an iraggi 260a alt. It works good but is overratted. I originally bought a 300a and it had half the output at idle as my stock alt. so i sent it back.

Ohio Gen, Mechman, and DCpower seem to be holding up these days.

Wow, I have never heard of MCR (Motorcity Reman), but I just found out I live 40 min away from the store and they have a 200amp alt for my car for $210. Guess where I'm going once I get some cash

Although they are currently offering free shipping, soooo i suppose there is no need for me to drive there lol.

MCR is very good. They built the alt I use in my Charger. I picked it up when I was in Ann Arbor one time. I used to live over on lake MI.

hey Troy Jones; what about Mechman?

so far they have the best outlook. 270a (155a @ 800rpm) for $400. most other brands don't have any available for me or have the output i want. iraggi's 260a (214a @ 800rpm) "amputator" will run me $520..

i don't believe i'll be cranking it while parked too often. lol.
