okay on the side there's a sticker and it says:

Part no. 09379071
delphi delco electronics
ser man y pkg no. c17

cxza
prod id. 2000

then there's a barcode and a number under it:
89cxzam300681325

on the receipt it came with, the item description:
a/v equipment (radio) (1gndx03exyd286259)

i believe this is the code where the car came from:
# 842 ventur 200 int. 02366b am-mono-fm-stereo-cassette-cd player.

thanks.

Unfortunately DELCO codes are not obtainable for free (using the Serial Number) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available to the Main Dealer or one the larger professional Decode Services.

The alternative is for your radio to be taken/posted to a Decode Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
