My firend has directed me here as I have a problem with my car stereo. Had a battery change and then realised i dont have the code to unlock the radio.
Its a Delco Electronics CDR500 from a Vauxhall and the numbers I have found are as follows
Sticker on the back says No. 90566821 Type CDR500(D) Supplier 4660103 MC
And stamped into the metal casing of the radio is the code GM0500W9444527
Unfortunately DELCO codes will not be available for free (using the serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original manufacturer`s database .
Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio shop only
