My friend Ryan has been telling about his girlfriend's car (her dad owns a car audio shop) and I finally got to see it today. Took a couple pics. Everything is Alpine in the car, type S. Clean install though. 3 12's behind the back seat with a mono block to each, one amp going to the inside speakers.

She had a bunch of bags in the back seat (girls tend to live in their cars) so it was had to pull the back seats down to get a look at them.

very nice work.. although I really hate exposed drivers like that door.. man I have nightmares of someone putting a foot through it.
I stick to using grills and covering the speakers or grills with matched cloth so they blend, but if you feel safe with it sticking out that way, cool.

Just makes me nervous. I don't trust people. haha

Looks like pretty good fiberglass work, but I completely agree on getting some grills on the speakers.

Rain/dirt/food/drunk friends are not good combinations for exposed speakers.

... Its also nice to see someone with less trunk space than me. haha.

if you want to make those door speakers blend in a bit, you can get grills, and stretch color matched acoustically transparent grille cloth over them, then snap them on. The speakers will look narly factory that way. I'd hidde the XO, too, but that's just me. I don't find them that attractive. Just personal preference.

This was parked outside a local audio shop I went by today. Someone called me right when I was aboout to take a shot of the inside and I had to run. It looked like he had 2 mini walls of 10 inch P1s on one large amp. Not positive though.
