What about the alarm

smokeit Bronze Member Username: Smokeit Ft worth, Texas Post Number: 47 Registered: Jun-04	Posted on Saturday, July 03, 2004 - 20:23 GMT i am getting a new alternator that is 150 amps and my amp is gonna use about 110 amps. i have a rattler alarm and power locks but the car is a dx. there is still enuf left for no problems and the alarm is olny going to be using amperage when it is on right.

The only time you will have to worry about the car alarm is when the car is off and your radio shouldn't be on anyway while the car is off with the alarm set. You will be fine get the alternator.
