Rear Speaker Location on a Crew Cab Ford Superduty

The rear speakers are blocked by the back rest of the rear seat. The speakers are mounted in the C-Pillar just behind the rear doors and unless you have the rear seat folded down you basically hear a muffled sound from the rear. Any suggestions on relocating them?

Since they're 6x9 rear mounts, I'd prefer to use 'em as midbass, which isn't such a big deal for baffling.

Are there 5.25" mounts in those doors?

Nope,

Ford SuperDuty Trucks have 6x8 mounts all the way around.

I sorta posted my answer in the other thread. Get 136mm components and pillar-mount the tweeter about even with the seatback and adjust the output to at least -6dB so it doesn't affect the front so much.
