hi,after battery problems,i need the radio code for the car,its a siemens vdo 2005, ser no GM020543203904 tried everywhere to get a code with no luck, isn't worth the £25 i have been quoted to unlock -thank you in advance- oz
Unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes (including yours) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database...which is not commercially available..
Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
thanks regrooster after hours on the net finally came to the same answer, must have every radio code generator going for every radio except mine. so £25 later i have my tunes back, cheaper than buying new one but annoyed didn't check for the code card when i bought the car. cheers oz
