are you making a ported box if so you need to find the size requirements for the port tube in order to have the box tuned.... other than that 3/4" MDF this is your lumber. MDF screws or nails a strong adhesive such as liquid nails automotive grade carpeting tape measure saw of some sort and your port tube
use the liquid nails and also nail or screw he parts together this will ensure and air tight fit to the box is perfectly sealed.
