Silver Member Username: Gcs8Atlanta, Ga Post Number: 238 Registered: Sep-09 | hey try reading, and it only has to be better than a 2001 cars crap speakers for my girl she dosent want a 12" she just dosent need it. when she wants a big girl system i will get her one, and i have the 12" version of that sub and it sounds fine. so before you get all up your ownass with how you think every one should do it at least try reading the post. maybe if you had recommended a different 8" sub i would take your advice. all i am looking to do is take the low end out of the door speakers and move it else ware. not b00ty bass or any thing of the sort, if i wanted to do that i would have gotten her 2 12" fi Q's in a nice ported box and a saz-1500. |

OK so eather an 8" or a 10" and some 6.5" front stage got a total budget of ~170$ USD. i am not shooting for any thing amazing just better than a 2001 paper cone and i have an amp that will do both the speakers and the sub without blowing the cars old a.s.s alt up. |

It is in your price range and is atleast a reputable name. I'd say get a ported enclosure to atleast get all that you can out of it. Plus you wouldn't need much of an amp to push it which means less money there too. |
