Hey guys, so I'm still a noob when it car audios but I've read up enough to get the gist of what's up with subs.

Anyway I've decided I'm going to go with eithe RE, alpines, or audioques. I basically just want the most bang for the buck and I'm not looking into a system too crazy, but enough for me to get a nice rattling bass.

By the way, I drive a BMW 318ti hatchback, it's a small little car. I'd rather not sacrafice ALL of my trunk space but I'll see what's up with that once I actually figure out what I'm buying.

I'll being getting dual 10's or 12's.

So I was thinking of these Alpines: SWR-1242 12's @ 500RMS

or These RE SE 10's @ 600RMS (but i've read that they're not the subs they used to be? can someone fill me in on this.)

Or the Audioque SDC2.5's .....

so what do you suggest?
And I'm planning on buying the AQ1200d to power the dual subs. This amp should be sufficient right?
Thanks!
