trying to design a box to fit into the trunk of my friends 01 passat but idk if it will fit or not. hes going to run sonances if they will fit so maybe 6-7 cubes net for ported.
does anyone have experience with this? he wants it to be removable so building it in the trunk is not an option.
IIRC that was in a jetta but not sure. He had the sx's in it i think.
anyways i love this forum so much only one response so far but i put the same thread on ca.com and got flamed really bad. "go measure" was the typical response seeing as its not my car and my friend is a solid 7 hours away i dont see how i could possibly measure.
Im having him take a few measurements but hes not very smart so they probably will be near meaningless lol.
I guess Ill just wait till hes in town next, measure it, if it will fit build the box and order the subs then he will just have to wait till the subs come in till he can bump. kind of unsatisfying after building a box but w/e it will save money in the end.
