I'm building a box for a Kicker CompVr that has 2.75 cuft internal vomlume. Problem is that the sub is only supposed to be used in enclosures up to 2.25 cuft. I would imagine that if I put the sub in the slightly bigger enclosure that I would just not be able to run as much power through it. I'm just curious as to what would happen.
you're thoughts are exactly right, you wouldnt be able to put much more than 300w rms on it without it reaching mechanical limits and causing over excursion, which kills a speaker
