New member Username: LoudgreencarPost Number: 1 Registered: Jun-04 | My friend has a new Cavalier and was wanting me to put in a new head unit for him. They told him at the car audio store that the cd player that came factory if removed would shut off the dash lights and stuff like that. I was wondering if there was anyway to get around all that?? |

James B Unregistered guest | good link from another site: http://memebers.shaw.ca/johnz24/howto/2kaudio.html. I found this one to be a lot of help, with a lot of other good links. Basically, to keep full functionality, you need to relocate the factory decks, and for that you need a "T" harness (read the page, very helpful). |
