Now I have another problem. I never got the opportunity to try the code you provided. In the radio display, it always says 'code', and it never came back to '0000' as it needs to be to enter the code. Is there any way that I can change that 'code' display to '0000'. I already spent more than 45 minutes keeping the radion on, and waiting the display to change, but it never happened in that time. It will be great if you can let me know how to do it. Many Thanks.

I think your find This occurs as the headunit fails to communicate with the car "CANCHECK" message. It is very common & occurs whenever a Punto Mk. 2B radio is fitted in an older Mk. 2 car .cancode? not to sure maybe someone else could help with this.

note the radio does not lockout after a wrong code entry it only doubles the time to wait before the next retry...if a wrong code is entered it will display error then after the delay should display "0000")
