How do i change my subs to 4 ohms

i got 2 12 inch mtx audio and i took my car to a audio shop they said my subs was 8 ohms is that good if not how can i change them to 4 ohms please help me out thanks} and i got a 760 watt amp will that sound good

I don't believe they even make a Dual 8 ohm sub. Most likely your sub is single 8 ohm. So no you cannot wire your sub down to 4 ohms.

yea if there svc 8 ohm subs. wire them together in parallel to make them a 4 ohm load.

I believe he said he had 2 12's so zacks right you can wire the two svc 8 ohm subs down to 4 ohm.

or if there pre wired in the box they could be 2 4ohm's wired in series instead of parallel. in witch case just re wire them and you are good to go.
