Power acoustik mofo 10in

i have a 10in dual two ohm power acoustik mofo and it calls for a 1.75 cubic in box but i dont know if i should go with ported or vented i know what size port i would need fotr a ported box witch is 4&9 witch will put it at 40hrtz can u tune a vented box?

a vented pox is ported.... and i dont understand at all what you mean by 4&9..

i meant that the whole needs to be 4in round and 9 in deep to tune the 1.75 cub box to 40 hrtz. what im askin i want a vented box witch has a square cut out i was wondering how can i make the square whole tuned to 40 hrtz

the 4x9 port that you are talking about sounds like something that the manufacture put on their website. The vent DOES NOT have to be that dimension though. The dimension of the port depends on the height and width of your enclosure which depends on what is the max dimensions of the space where the enclosure will go.

play around with it until you get the hang of it and report back if you need any other help.
