i'm going to be hooking my rockford 1000bd power series amp to two pioneer premier TS-SW2501S2's in a sealed 1 cubic foot box with polyfill....they are shallow mount subs and will be recieving a 4 ohm load. I want to know where to set my HPF and subsonic filter as well as gains because in the past i have blown subs....my subsonic has a range of 50-250hz. thanks a million for any help you can offer.
...i should add that i am running 5 gauge wire and have a 5 farad cap (previous system) in case that my help with anything....obviously i'm not very experienced and need some pointers.
you probably shouldnt even put power to those pioneer shallow mounts, sell them.. i had 2 12's and i HATED them with a passion, not a good sound at all. just my .02
