Hi all,

I'm looking for a nice budget quality amp for an Eclipse SW6210. I need an amp that will do around 500rms @ 2ohms. I've had a look around myself and I've narrowed it down to 2 that I think would be a good cheap solution.

Cerwin Vega V500.1: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12078_Cerwin-Vega+Vega+V500.1.html

or

Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17368_Rockford+Fosgate+PRIME+R500-1.html

Please let me know which one you think would be best for the job :-)

Thanks everyone.

I've ran fosgate amps and they've always done great. I'd recommend the RF.

Between the two id go with the RF. You might also wanna check these out 2. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_19251_Alpine_MRP-M500.aspx http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_19219_Kicker_08ZX5001.aspx

Thank you both for your opinions :-)

And thanks for the recommendation Sean P. The Alpine looks good too. Would you choose the Alpine over the RF? I think the Kicker is a tad too expensive for me.
