Below are some pictures of my enclosure I had built by Bassman3. He did an amazing job, it looks and sounds great. My sub hits a lot lower now than it used to. He also did a great job packing it up for shipment. Highly recommend if you're in need of a box. I had the worst time ever trying to upload pictures on here, so I had to make them the lowest resolution setting for them to upload. The box is 2.0 ft^3 tuned to 32 Hz.
The boxes look good but as mentioned the pictures suck! Ecoustics is probably the worst forum when it comes to uploading pictures if you ask me, this forum sucks for so many reasons but out of all the car audio forums I'd rather be here than somewhere else.
Here is a video. The video quality came out like crap, I recently got the camera and havn't figured out all the settings yet. Volume is at 22 on the deck, gain is set to level 26 volume ( 3/4 ). Bass is on +5 on deck, treble +7. Sub output at 0 and Mx turned off. I turned down the gain on the 300/4 and matched everything up.
Yeah the lowest it dropped was to 12.04. I had the bass on 5, 3 is where I have it at when driving and 18 volume is as loud as I go in the car riding around. I had it more than normal for the video. I do plan to upgrade the alt and do the big 3 soon. The cap is just chillin there, it doesnt go anywhere or move around. It's happy in it's corner.
ok so if ur runnin a jl 1000 and another jl amp (im jus gonna assume its a highs amp ~6- 700 max?
im runnin about the same amount of power as a dd, should i be worried about my voltage dropping? i never really bothered checking because only lke 1350 rms.. i mean c'mon
Lucas, Why woud you ask about his other amp's max wattage? Max ratings are not used 99.999% of the time..

What is a dd? you should always be worried about voltage drop... And 1350 wrms would warrant some upgrades... What vehicle and upgrades do you have as of now?
I never even thought about the port being painted. I'm happy with it as is, painting it could be an option in the future. The voltage stays around 13.6 - 13.8 at normal listening volume. As for the total rms I'm running it's 800 but I'm not pulling all of that out of my amps. The 4 channel is turned down below specs and the 500/1 wouldn't be at full potential until volume 26.
