im doing the grunt work for a friend trying to get the parts needed for his system, hes got the sub picked out its Kicker 08DS12L74 Dual 12, now hes got a kicker ZX850.2 amp, will that work or will it blow his system? im not savvy in car audio so i cant really help him besides trolling for info.
First, i would recomend getting a different sub. Ive had them,and there are much better subs out there for the money. BUT if hes stuck on that sub,i think that amp is only stable at 4ohm bridged. So he would need to get a dual 2ohm sub. So... yes the amp would work fine.(with a dual 2 ohm sub)
