I rarely check out the new stuff companies are working on but I ran into this today.. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32483-mmmm-split-coils / Looks like FI could be coming out with some new stuff for the SQ nuts. My guess is that it might be similar to the Supergauss or crossfires version of the split coils... but there's a chance for SQ goodies.... |

I believe they're putting that technology in the new AA/SMD woofer, at least from a previous post on SSA. I'd love to see that style motor/4" coil with a 22" basket  I've been without bass for a year waiting on the release (and a few other reasons). |
