itll be going in the back of a 86 gmc s15 ext cab

i dont really know much about building a box, as you could imagine.

the way im thinking about building it would be to make like three chainbers in the box? sorta like three single boxes combinded into one?

that would be a waste of space... just make it one chamber.

go there, and plug in the numbers until you get the correct volume and frequency. measure the maximum dimensions of where youre putting the box and this will tell u how big to build it.

looks good, what glue did you use?

and dom, you adjust the numbers on the website until you get your desired volume. Your desired volume should be around 6 cubes and the port should be around 32-26. 32 for lower bass extension 36 for more upper bass

bassman, do you think lower bass would be a better option for my setup?

i messed around with the numbers with the hight and depth and width but the port size.. do i type in 32 if i want it tuned to 32?

dom,

Your box height is 43 inches and its only 18 inches wide. Try changing those numbers around and making it 43 wide and 18 high. And im pretty sure you enter in the internal box port height when doing the port dimentions. (i dont use that program so im not positive) so if your box is 18 inches tall, the port height would be 16.5"

hight--18

width--43

depth--18

tuned--32

port height--16

port width--4

port length 1 & 2 -- 13.25 & 4

eric,

yea, don't use gorilla for enclosures. For one, it would be very expensive, 2 gorilla is polyurethane and is mainly used for repairing porous surfaces (because it expands so well). Just to let you know. again though, great work on the enclosure.

4.3ft^3 total internal box volume (including sub and port displacement)
3ft^3 shared chamber after displacement (1.5ft^3 per sub)
Inner dimentions 13.5" x 35.5" x 15.5"
Outer box dimentions 15" x 37"x 17"
Port 3.25"W x 13.5H x 23.25L
Tuned to 36hertz

its for 2 orion xtr pros, its the recommended enclosure except instead of tuning to 40 hz, i had it tuned to 36hz bcuz i prefer lower bass. one of my buddies figured it all up for me, i just built it to the measurements he gave me. turned out pretty good too.
