I have been browsing the internet for some time and still have no idea on how to create custom backgrounds for the ixa-w404. What i do know is that the file type is .bmp and the size is 182kb. I have tried viewing the files in photosnap/paint/windows picture viewer and nothing will open these files. Anyone else out there have any further info on this? the only site i knew of that would have been any help is closed and the guy running it up and quit the whole thing so im at a loss. Stupid alpine and their proprietary formats.
i tried uploading other size files today as well as 182kb files that dont meet the 400x234 screen size requirement and it all leads to error, i guess the file needs to be exactly 182 kb and it needs to be 400x234. Im just speculating as i am unable to view the alpine files
