looks like you have about 1200 watts true power out of that amp at 1 ohm so id suggest a fi q sub with dual 2 ohm coils if your buying one.

Just curious why not the BL. Both the Q and the BL are great subs, but wouldn't the BL be more of a sql sub?

you have to take off efficiency losses.

13.8 x 120=1656 minus 20% for class d.
331
1325 best case

the box(s) i had built for my polks... so my only guess would be the depth of the sub plus maybe an inch sealed.

For the amount of power you are running you could just go with a stock BL or you could add everything and get a fully loaded one if you plan on running more power later on

In the properly designed box you wont have any problems. You just need to make sure the sub doesnt bottom out

it somewhat depends on how large you go with the box for that to become a factor smaller boxes tend to accept more power without reaching suspension limits. Sealed boxes can also react in a similar manner.

what bottom a sub out....by over driving it in too big of a box....your setup wont have those problems though so dont worry about that.

to save space otherwise the box will have to be alot bigger than 5 cubic feet....thats actually not long for a 33 hz tuning.

The flared ports flow a decent amount more air than a standard round port. Ive seen what two 4 inch aero ports can flow....plenty.

ok here we go go to lowes or someplace like that and have them cut your pieces to the desired demensions off of this program.

skip the port demensions.

http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html

let me take a look at what you have then.

all you will need to build the box then is a jigsaw for the speaker cutout and a pre drill bit and a cordless drill screws and sealer
