To fit my trunk i need a box 39x13.5x34.
6 cubes. and tuned for 2 15" kicker CVXs. So i guess 36(since re tunes low type in 34).
I have yet to find this possible since the box's height is so small
Anyone find a way? With the subs facing up and the port facing forward.

Anyone able to accomplish this?

Hmm. Isn't subs and port back the best way to go.. I understand this might be hard for you try taking out your spare then remeasuring

Really? How can having the subs and port facing forward not be the best? I dont know too much. But anyways i have the have the subs facing up because theyre 15s.

The box has to be 40x13.5x34 so how else could i do it other than port forward and horizontal? If its vertical its impossible to tune it high enough because its so deep and short.

As far as the re calculator. Ill have 32hz 6 cubes. for 2 15" CVXs

Whats an aero port?
I have a 2004 mazda 6

Because of car dynamics amongst many other variables, including box design. That's how.

Well i have decided to go with the box i have made and to just lay it on its side. The calculator says it is tuned correctly so it should work out.

Using the re lported box calculator it will be
13.5 wide
40 tall
34 deep
3" port width
0 port length.
33.35 hz (atleast 34, read multiple threads about re tuning low.)
6.3 cubes.

Anyone think this might be alright?
Possibly making the port out of plywood but we'll see.

First off that box will be 8.69 cu ft before displacement and i was even counting the thickness of the wood. So even after sub displacement you will get something around 8 cu ft. You shouldn't have a port length of zero. You should have at least a couple inch port in length.

A 8 cu ft box tuned to 34 hz that has a port height of 12" and a width of 3" will have a length of 4"

I would recommend around 50sq + of port. So maybe 2 3" x 12" x 14.5" tuning the box too 34 hz
