Well i am thinking of making a sealed box for my 2 15" kicker CVXs. If i make one ported it will only be about 6.5 cubes. And be an extremely close fit, possibly not fitting into my trunk. So was thinking would a sealed box be ok?

personally i wouldnt put cvx's in a sealed enclosure.

6 cubes would be fine for the cvx's. Tune it to 36hz or so.

Yea? Well i looked at the minimum ported on the kicker sites manuals. So i guess that would work.

But ive got a problem, I need to port facing forward. And the subs facing up.

Also it needs to be 40x13.75x30

Using the re audio calc; i made it so instead of the port being perpendicular to the ground and on the left it would be parallel. And on the bottom of the box.

So it would actually be 13.75 wide x 40 tall x 30 deep.
But then the (new) top plate would have much less support. Would this work out?
