Hey guys, I don't know if you remember me from a couple years ago. This is my first post since then. My 2001 De-ville was recently totaled in a random flood. I bought a King cab 4dr 4wd Ranger pick up truck (2 full doors and 2 half doors) a couple weeks ago. I need to get something in there.

I'm thinking about going with a DD9512g in a custom built bass tube, 13" x 3 foot with a 6" aero-port. idk, I'll need some ideas on other possible box and amp options. I would really like to incorporate a couple 6x9 boxes and an amp sleeve if it is for a different style of box.

After reviewing the amp section I am thinking about the Audioque 2200D. Do you guys think it would be a good option to run that dd9512g?

Pick up an rd 3250v2 its a better amp and not much more cash. Set the gain to your power with a digital multimeter.

You can run the rd amp at 2200 watts if you set the gain right. But even at that power rating you would need an alternator.

770-975-9100 call Steve . at rd to get the amp

Yeah that would work but a larger one would be better.

If I did go with the Audioque 2200D, could I get away without upgrading the alt right away?

I'm not sure what to do. I want something that I'll be happy with but right now my money is kinda funny. After adding it up, it comes to 1875. I need something in there asap. I'm probably gonna have to go with something basic for now.

I'm thinking maybe just a 1200w amp and a $200 12" sub in a box that is 20" wide 24" high 15" deep at the bottom, and 10" deep at the top with a aero port on top for tuning.

Go with a AQ 1200 watt amp and get either a AQ hdc, Fi BL, DC lvl 4 or a IA death penalty and you will be happy until you can get the money to add onto the system. All of that equipment is really good.

Just stay away from whatever William says.....
