You are going for S.Q. is my guess not just SPL so you want an amp that will provide nice clean S.Q. wattage. Are you dead set on buying a new amp, or would a used older amp be ok too?! Have you looked into the old alpine v-12 series on ebay, or an old soundstream, ppi, or us amps?! I run my MB Quarts ( the german made Q-line) with an old alpine mrv-1505 and they are awesome sounding and clean too, blows people away how clean and loud they can get without distorting. Anyway the MRP is a good amp but there are many other good options. if you have any questions feel free to pm me, i have been doing S.Q. and high end car audio for about 8 years. |
