Seeking blaupunk mp41 tuner mod for 50 khz

i recently bought a blaupunkt mp41. plays mp3 great, sounds great but a minor(major) problem: tuner step is 200 khz and i need 50 khz. anyone with the solution? i also want to convert it to 88.00-108.00 mhz range. :)
