ok so i traded one of my buddys my 2 15in american bass dxs for 2 15inch Kicker CVRs...there dual voice coil 4ohms...i rewired them to 4ohm but when i hook both up the amp kicks into protect mode for some reason..but when i unhook one of the subs the amp will turn on....need helpp pleasee!!!
What amp? Are you sure you have them wired to 4 ohms? Sounds like your amp isn't 1ohm compatible and it is letting you know that. Other than that one of the subs coils could be blown causing a short. Try hooking up the other one by itself too.
