So I've read about Sub ohms and how the lower the ohm the more power, but could also burn your amp out faster, etc.. but i just dont know what to get
I am getting 2 Image Dynamics IDQ10D2 v.3 10" for a sealed enclosure (09 Silverado ext. cab) i have not purchased anything yet, i need a amp and the subs, but i dont know what OHM 2 or 4 for the subs.
i dont want to spend more that 500 or so on the AMP, i already know how much the subs are. Thanks!!

Which amp you use determines what ohm subs you need. So what amp are you using.

1 ohm stable amps r far more easily available than 2ohm stable so if its a pair of subs get the 4ohms dvc version along with a 1 ohm stable monoblock amp

nice choice of subs ....
