also we are on a budget the hu needs to be about 200 dollars and the speakers just not too high priced. Also if you could give me the best place to buy them from. I am prolly looking at getting it from crutchfield.

That eclipse 3100 i recommended would be a good one and with the extra 30 bucks left over you could buy an install kit. Thats the headunit i have in my car.

There you go Jordan he's giving you a better hookup than crutchfield if he does indeed have one for your vehicle.

If the new pioneer units are like the previous ones they blow out if not installed or removed properly so follow instructions if your going to buy one.

You would be better off going with some components in the front doors with an amp. Whats your budget amount for these speakers.

i think about 150.. but i want good enough quality so whatever price it takes. Yeah component speakers will probably do better. I will need to replace all the speakers tho because they are all blown apparently that is something the last user of the car didnt want me to know.

Yes. If you dont want to go with an amp then you should go with speakers for the factory locations and run them off the headunit. You have just the montero not the montero sport right?

Front door and back. They dont show this one for the back door but the mounting depth is the same front to back. Id disconnect the dash speakers.
