I have two 12" pioneer premiers and they both seem to be slamming just fine to me. But, for some reason it seems when I gently push on the top of the center part of the sub it makes an air like noise.

Can anyone tell me what this means? Because if I have to replace it I want to do it before my warranty runs out!

If by "air like" you mean a scraping noise when you push the cone in, then your coils are getting toasted. Most warranty's don't cover user error.

Air like noise = blown sub? lol

You just have an air leak around the subs. Make sure your sub is sealing off fully by putting some weather stripping under/around it.

A line of silicone under the sub gasket works well too... If you don't have carpet.

Works perfect if you never wanna take it out

I've had to cut silicone out from under subs here at the shop. Sucks :-(

Lol yeah it can be kinda tough to take out. I did that with my old SD2.5's. When I took them out I had to use a flathead screwdriver and sorta pry them out lol. But it works well.
