Is my internal amp fried in my Vr3 Vrcd500-sdu Radio? I have a Vr3 vrcd500 radio that I got from a friend. When hooked up every thing in my 1999 Taurus SHO. I went to turn the volume up and it had sound coming from it, but it was staticy, very distorted, and you could barley hear it. Also I hooked up 4 speaker and only 3 or them were working. So are my internal amp fried? If they are, are the pre-out gonna still work to run an external amp?
Oh and forgot to mention that I even hooked the wiring up to a external speaker to see if it was the wiring from the RCU, but it did the same thing. So what would be the problems? Could this be a ground problem
