well since you guys have far superior audio video knowledge than the GM forum ill post some questions here.
I have a 2009 Silverado EXT. cab Z71. i just ordered the new Kenwood DNX9140, and now i need some Subs. I had 1 Image Dynamics IDMAX 10" in my Car that was LOUD, but that sub is to deep to fit under the rear seat of the silverado.
I am getting the pre fabbed boxed that fit under the rear seat (downfire). Air Space = .60 cubic feet per sub Mounting Depth = 5 1/8" - 5.75" per sub
So here are the questions What sub's should i get and what OHM? 2 S8L7 8" Solo-baric Recommended RMS Power: 450W
What amp? I currently have a Kicker KX 600.1 that i used with the IDMAX which worked fine, but i don't know if its enough to power 2 subs. i would like to keep this amp if it is possible
i plan on upgrading the speakers down the road but i need some thump first
