Alright, I will be sound deadening my trunk and doors very soon.
I need all the help I can get.
1- Best value Deadmat (No eDed or w/e, I need something more idiot proof...ha)
2 - Best way to install it. I wont be doing the headliner or floor paneling at this time. Just doors and trunk.

Thanks in advance!

x2 on damp pro

install is pretty simple.. clean the surface with some denatured alcohol and just apply.. and roll on

key is to get all the air out from under it.. so .. well get your roll on haha

also liquid nail any bracing

how much sq. per door would you really need? well for me i got a big door (chevy avalanche)..on SS's website, they have a door pack of 13sq. ft. for ~60 bucks.
so 2 doors would cost ~110-120

Or you can get 37.5 sq.ft of RAAMat for 100...

you see the predicament?

the normal price on that RAAMat is only under $30 of damp pro for about the same amount.. except damp pro is thicker so you should end up using less where as something thinner could require two layers in certain areas

currently as the sale is.. the RAAMat is a good deal.. but from a normal cost stand point.. the 30 you save you might end up losing in time/effort

I am driving a good ol LeSabre.
Large doors, large trunk, large car...
I am guessing I will need at least 40 sq. ft...
Thats a complete guess since I have done basically 0 measuring. I just know the car makes most others look small.

gonna need more than that. i drive a 300m which is only slightly bigger if at all. and i used ~30 sq ft in just my front doors. only have about 20 sq ft in my trunk and am nowhere near completed.

Eh, 40 sq ft was an estimate, apparently that would cover the doors...lol
could I do the doors in damp pro and spray the trunk with that spray on deadener Troy was using in that thread he posted?
