We are building a ton of these this week and next.

My question to you is how low does the pricing need to be to make these move?

We are discussing this today and tomorrow and would like some of your opinions.

All of the new Alphas come with
* HW cones and surrounds
* HW spiders
* triple joint ring like HW
* 8 layer flat wind voice coils avail in d1 and d2

They play lower, have lower fs, get louder, sound better, take more power and and use better parts than the previous Alphas

If you have any input on what you think a great price on these would be shipped pls chime in.

we will be offering 10-18"

thanks

i will release a price later this week. I am just trying to get a lttle feed back.

We want to go after a larger market share on the net. So we figured upgrading them and offering a DROP JAW price it should help.

we will have between 300-400 ready to go next week.

how do you figure? Yours may not meter well. That doesn't mean that the Alphas cant put up good numbers.

^^^ yea you are correct. In my application they are not meter pleasers but that was not my complete intention. and to be honest these are the loudest woofers i have ever owned.

Build quality is superb and customer service is second to none. Steve has taken care of me and i know if i ever have a problem he will be there to take care of it for me. how many other company owners can you talk to on a daily basis?

as far as metering well it comes down to what you want.

If it is a very clean sound and a flat response that is very different enclosure that one that we would design for spl.

I am going to use 4 15" in my tahoe and shoot for a 155 on music, we will wait and see next week on that.

The port and box size have alot to do with the meter. To meter well you have to open the port up more. but i personally like the sound of the smaller ports. You can have a box that does 145 and it sound much louder to the ear that another box with a massive port that does a 150.
