I am having issues with my battery, and until I have time to have that checked out, I have been using a portable jump starter to start my car. As a result of this, the Acura factory stereo I installed in my 91 Accord requires the radio code to be entered each time. I have the code and tried to enter it the same way I did it when I installed the stereo, but it's not working this time. My code is 11414. I pressed preset #1 once, preset #2 once, but when I try to press preset #3 four times, it reads Err-1 after only pressing it once. If I press any other buttons, I get Err-2, then Err-3 and then it locks up. I can't get it to start over with "CODE" again. It will reset after pulling the radio backup fuse or after it's been sitting dead for a while, but the same thing happens every time. Is this happening because the battery keeps dying or am I entering the code incorrectly? Thank you for your time...
