My cousin has a blazer with a pioneer premier hu (dont know what model off hand, but i dont think that matters.

Anyway his music plays fine except when he puts pressure on the gas pedal. When he does that the music gets all choppy.

My guess is loose wiring or something similar.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys.

also maybe if he ran the signal wire or rca's or even speaker wires under or around the pedal that might do it.

Run a wire from the radio to a good ground point, don't use the ground wire in the harness and see if that fixes it.

GM uses crazy wiring methods where pretty much everything ties together. Blown fuses can affect things they shoudnt, etc.

Yes, or in some cases black with white stripe.

Well not so sure it is the ground anymore. I didnt check the ground, but when the rca's to his subs are unplugged from his sub amp the speakers are clear. As soon as the rcas are plugged back into the amp it gets shitty again.
