I found someone here at Ft. Hood selling two Fi Q's for 340 and I'm sure I can get him to go down on the price but either way my question is this he says its Dual 1 has the BP option and triple stack magnets but since its custom it has a logoless dust cap. Is that true or false and is there a way to look at it and see if it is and has what he says. Thanks

If he bought the FIs from FICARAUDIO.COM they would have a logo cap. If he got them reconed at all from FI, they would have a logo cap.

FI now offers 8 different colors (i think) in dustcaps. Im not sure if he has gotten one of these. I have not seen these colored dustcaps, but they too should have a logo.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking, that's why I was asking you guys see what you guys thought. It's just a solid black dust cap on these.

Hey, you never said the size? Those appear to be 15s tho

340? I dont see how he would be selling 2 Qs for 340 that are custom with the blank cap, have an extra magnet, and the bp power on both?? Ive seen and heard the Q 12 and I own a fully loaded FI BL 15. Neither had triple stack magnets.

Lol well that's why I saw it to be a little fishy or to good to be true, its 1 of 2 things.

1. He doesn't know any better, which around here I wouldn't doubt

2. It's bullsh!t

From the pics, I'm thinking they are RE SE's w/ an FI recone.
The bottom plate looks nothing like a n Fi Q.

Yea to me those subs look much more like REs.

Based on the two giant holes in the bottom of the subs, THOSE ARE NOT QS. They are REs, I can see it now.

The FIs normally come with a double stack magnet, and a bolt about an inch wide(allen wrench bolt) thats on the bottom of the sub...Not a hole like those. Those must be RE SEs, like canaan said.

Hmm...maybe they're older Ascendant Audio subs? But I can't think of any that ever looked like that.
