im gettin 2 fi q 15's. or possibly 1 fi btl 18. any idea for a decent amp to run with them?

i heard about those fi subwoofers they hold alot so you really going to need an amplifier thats going to push them @ 2ohm stable, a nice one channel

If you get 2 subs get them in dual 1 ohm. If you get 1 sub get a dual 2 ohm. Then regardless you can wire to 1 ohm nominal since most mono amplifiers run full power @ 1 ohm.

The Q and the BTL are WAY different subs. Q is sq oriented while BTL is a more SPL oriented sub.

What are you looking for in your substage? more sound quality or loudness?

If you get a BTL 18, give it atlease 4000 watts RMS.

^^^^^ uhhh no... for comps and burps but NOT as a dialy driver..

i would give a btl 18 a clean 2k-2500 daily
