BMW do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , BLAUPUNKT etc).

In order to attempt to calculate your code , please supply your radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the NUMBERS+LETTERS on ANY LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Hey Reg, thanks for your reply,
I can't really tell who makes the radio, there don't seem to be any Alpine or Blauplunk markings, although it does say in the label "under license of STAAR S.A. Brussels, Belgium"
Here are a couple pictures of the labels and markings I could see (inside & out).

oops? - Images don't seem to want to upload (even after I shrunk them down, will try just 1 at a time)

The PMC0104170 number was on the card code 5 digit# BMW sent me with the car, part of which I think I remeber as "166", but I can't remember the other two numbers or where they went in the sequence.

As always, thanks for any help you can give.

This BMW is a puzzle. I think it is an ALPINE make.

If you email
