I built a 2.5 cuft ported box tuned to 40 hz for and Alpine r12. Got a jl audio 500/1 pushing it. Question is: can i build a smaller box, cause i would love more room. Think someone on here suggested 1.5 cuft at 40 hz once. Will a box that small be louder, less loud, barely noticeable. Sugestions please?
