I've got my BXi2608D but i dont plan on using it to the fullest, only about 1800 watts.

My question is will two yellow top optimas work because I really dont feel like spending $480 on two PC 1230 odssey batts, (that's really the only one that'll fit up front.) I will be getting a HO alt its peak is 180 idle 120. I'm up for other suggestions.

Group 31 or 34? It should be ok just my not be able to play it full tilt forever. The only way to really tell put it in and check you voltage when playing and charge them every once and a while.

D34/78 dual post. I ran a optima before on 1000 watts, no HO alt and had zero problems with the lights and all that

yellow... ehhhh..
the blue optima 31dm batteries kick butt! they hold more than they say and discharge way faster than kinetics.
don't ask me y! but they are pretty awsome. the ones like this

I was just at orielly's, I was looking at the yellow top super start 130 bucks, same stats as the optima, anyone ever used these? It uses a fiberglass core or something.
Its 223 shipped for the odyssey I want.

Would two of those odysseys be over kill?

odyssey batteries are worth it. Yellow tops are only 50 amp hrs (not good)

I guess I'll have to save up for two 1230s I may give those super starts a try, they're an acid battery

If you can fit a Odyssey PC1500 that would be better.

the pc1500 is a bit too big for my battery tray even if I modify it a lil bit. If I could run big batt I would. I'll check out those XS power batts
