Does anyone know defintively whether or not 8ohm speakers can be incorporated into a car audio system? I have heard conflicting opinions. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.}}}

You can run any ohm speaker in car audio. Just don't exceed the limits of the amp or driver. The lower the ohm (resistance) means more heat/draw from the amp.

The specs on your amp will tell you your options in wiring/ohm load. Most car amps won't give 8ohm wiring diagrams though.

youlle have to wire them in parrelel to one channel to get a 4 ohm load but ya you can use them. they will probably not sound as load as one 4 ohm speaker because the watts will be split to each one unless your useing subs then you can bridge them into a 4ohm load and get more power. check this wiring out
