I think its about time to try a new box for my SE's.

This is going in the back of my expedition.

Right now I think I have a 4cube tuned at 32hz.. it just kind of sounds sloppy to me.

If I do ported, I want to go with an aero port(s)... ive never done those before and it seems like a good start.

Im not weighing out sealed though either, I listen to mostly hip-hop, rap, with a little rock inbetween.

Maybe an oversized sealed? I have 1200 clean watts goin to them.

Any suggestions?

If you do have a properly build 4cuft box tuned to 32hz, it should sound pretty good w/ those SE's.

You you want a quicker, more responsive bass try a sealed box. Or possibly 4th order.

on RE Audios website, the optimal box is 2 cubes @33Hz per 12" sub... your box seems perfect for the woofers you have.

what are the measurements of your box? LxWxH and port width and length

Its not the "perfect box" but its built to specs. I may try redoing the box a little better, it does sound good... and im sure a bunch of damplifier would help tremendously... but im workin with what I got haha.

If I try and redo the box, I'll try the aero ports and a better build all around.

Anybody willing to sketch up a box with an aero port design?

4.3 cubes before displacement (4 after). tuned to 33hz.

Max width is 45 heigth 17-18 depth doesnt matter too much.

Id like to fire the subs up and port back, seems to be to my liking instead of sub/port back.
