Well my friend just totalled his camaro and picked up a 2000 escalade the other day and has quite a bit of money to work with. he wants to do a big system but hes not exactly sure what he wants yet. i think he wants something around 4 15's. anyone have any suggestions as to what 15's he should get? i was also thinking two memphis 4000.1's for the power source. extra batteries and H/O alternator will also be on the list. thanks

how much is he wanting to spend. dose he want SQ, SQL, SPL. how much power is he wanting to run? "if its around 8k he is going to need to do alot of work to the electrol to back it up" then he will need sub's that will take 2k each...
well ended up going with 2 15" L7's and a Hifonics 2608D amp and a prefab box. Its definitely LOUD but custom box will be coming soon. Also the headunit is a POS jenson and will be replaced soon also. this is just for daily driving and to impress people who know nothing about systems lol
wow chill. i just built the system to what he asked for. he wanted fcking loud for a good price and thats what i got. 2 15" L7s, Hifonics amp, some tweeters, 0 gauge wiring kit, kinetic HC800, some HIDs, and a prefab box for $1000.
and in case you didnt notice custom built to specs box is coming next. i have had personal experience with my 15" L5 and it was louder than all hell. i know these things are strictly SPL but thats what i was asked for.
yea 2 AQ HDC318's on 2 AQ1200ds and a custom built box. It isn't to hard to build a box yourself better then buying prefab and then having to upgrade to a custom box later on.
