with just key on power it sounds fine and volume levels are where i would expect... with the engine running the speakers crackle and the volume drops off...
rca to amp, 12 gauge to speakers, 0 gauge for power and ground. i tried search tool but i'm getting server errors so posting a new thread.
car is an 03 saturn ion. amp is 1400w 4channel mosfet blitz amp. i know its a power issue but the amp is not going into protect it's just behaving oddly. i hooked an mp3 player directly to the amp so i know it's not the deck. i've check the grounds(deck, amp, block, battery) they all seem excelent the only thing i can remotly think of is something from the ignition system touching ground somewhere but i dont think that would give me these problems as much as it would engine problems. it's only when engine is running. with power on but engine off it will run fine all day.
