thanks but where im from with is the bahamas its not easy to find 0gauge wire because not many people put that much power in their car like that here and the high output alternator ius hard to find also so i was wondering if i could use 2 4 gauge wires and wat about 2 1.5fard caps?

0gauge is pretty easy to find anywhere. Just check your local welding shop. 1/0 is a pretty standard welding cable and is very flexible.

^Just have to know to check a welding shop. Sometimes semi-truck parts companies will carry it.

But yeah, you certainly could run multiple large-gauge wires to emulate a single small gauge wire. It just gets more messy and painful to work with, especially with joining them together at the beginning and end of the circuit.

As far as the caps go, those aren't going to do much except put MORE strain on the alternator. I personally would do the best I can with what amperage is available. You can still build a pretty sick system without having to upgrade the alt etc.
