I have a Dual "15 sub box that i have my Dual JL 15'' subs in. The box is about 2 feet deep.. NO air holes (yet not decided) but i was wondering.. i Have foam like stuff in it, to compress the air. Should i take the foam out and make a breather or leave the foam in?

WHich would sound better??

So it's a sealed box and you have some sort of damping material in the box? Was it used because the box had to be built small and you needed to compensate for the lack of box volume?

And the foam doesn't compress the air, the driver is trying to do that. It simply absorbs the pressure waves and fools the driver into thinking its' in a larger box, thus allowing a smaller volume with similar results.

Like Rovin said, remove it and see if it makes the difference you're looking for.
